Future content
[edit | edit source]- The remaining Aura Minister Perks.[1]
- Improvements to mob levels to make them appropriately reward players for defeating stronger mobs without the system being arbitrary.
- The Desecrated Shrine, a new dedicated Fishing island, which will include Guardian Slayer. Still planned to release in 2026.[1]
- The Great Glacite Lake update, with two pieces of BiS Mining Equipment, Glacite Sea Creatures, new Mineshafts, and an Offering system for the lake to target certain mineshafts.[1]
- The Foraging Update, Part 3, which will include Lunarise, the third and possibly final island of Galatea.
- New Combat content that is "intended to take full advantage of the latest versions of Minecraft" and planned to be "accessible to players at all stages of the game", including Ashwood Citadel, and at least one new Slayer.[1]
- Features and information confirmed in a Q&A session that took place on June 8th, 2026:
- SkyBlock 1.0 will aim to use 1.21's features to its fullest
- Custom prefix colors for SkyBlock Levels when functionality for custom colors is implemented.
- A resource pack for menus, as seen in the 2024 Recap.
- Concrete plans exist for the future of
Alchemy, which will not involve minigames similar to the 
Experimentation Table.
Not planned to be released soon

We had large technical issues with the update that would require major rewrites of certain parts of the game, so we don’t have any current plans on it. We might look into more end content in the future, but we currently do not have any plans on that either.[3]
- Kuudra armor
Crimson Essence cost reductions
We do still plan on doing the cost reductions, but it's not something that will urgently happen.
The reasoning behind nerfing the total Crimson Essence cost is twofold: the nerf will allow players to obtain a maxed Kuudra armor set in a reasonable amount of runs/gameplay, and there will be a world where Kuudra Armors aren't the strongest armor in the game, making the current grind not reasonable for how long it takes.
The cost reduction will indeed still happen in the future, along with a refund system that will grant you the difference. You should be safe to upgrade your Kuudra armors, but of course, Crimson Essence may become cheaper down the line (on the Bazaar) with a bunch of people getting refunds, so whether you upgrade your armors is up to you.
My apologies to not giving you an earlier update about it.[4]
We still want to one day call SkyBlock "1.0", but we keep pushing the boundaries of what we have in mind for 1.0. Ultimately there is an update we have in mind, and when we will release this update, it’ll be called 1.0. But at this stage it would be a shame to release it without mastering all the latest versions features.[5]
