The Spooky Festival is an event that takes place from Autumn 29-31. It lasts for 3 SkyBlock Days, during which monsters will have a chance to drop either  Green or  Purple Candy.

All Mobs have a 10% chance to drop  Green Candy when killed during a Spooky Festival. This chance can be increased with certain bonuses:

	Foxy Sweet Benevolence perk	+30%

With all of these upgrades, the base 10% candy chance increases to a 94% chance, or a 124% chance with Foxy's perk. This chance is not increased by  Magic Find.

When  Green Candy is obtained, there is a base 10% chance for it to be converted to  Purple Candy instead. This conversation chance is increased with the following bonuses, which is also not affected by  Magic Find:

Spooky Mobs spawn during the night whilst a Spooky Festival is taking place and drop Candy when killed.

They spawn in the following Locations:

•  Graveyard
•  Wilderness
•  Spider's Den
•  Obsidian Sanctuary

When a Mob is killed during a Spooky Festival, there is a chance for a Trick or Treat Chest to spawn. The chance is 1% for normal Mobs and 3% for Spooky Mobs. The chance to drop Trick or Treat chests can be increased with the  Lucky Hoof or  Eternal Hoof accessories and with Doug Trick or Treat Enthusiast perk. Maximum chance to spawn is 4% and 6% for Spooky Mobs.

They can be opened to give the player either a TRICK or TREAT, the former spawning a Spooky Mob and the latter granting the player 1-3 items.

When Foxy's A Time for Giving perk is active, Party Chests spawn instead of Trick or Treat Chests. They cannot spawn Spooky Mobs, drop 2-4 items and the items drop in larger quantities as well as having some unique loot.

During Spooky Festivals, a new pool of Sea Creatures is added, which has a base 15% chance to override any normal Sea Creature catch in  Water. The chance can also be increased by certain modifiers:

The leaderboard is defined by the number of candy collected. It can be found next to the Fear Mongerer.

Green Candy grants 1 point, and Purple Candy grants 5 points towards the player's Candy Score. Candy obtained from Bat Piñatas does not count towards the leaderboard.

Rewards will be given at the end of the Spooky Festival based on how many points the player obtained. Rewards can be claimed at the end of the event from the Fear Mongerer or from  Event Rewards found in the Calendar. Unclaimed rewards are only claimable for 10 SkyBlock Years from the year they are earned.

• During Halloween in real life, additional Spooky Festivals are organized.
• During Dante's term as Mayor, the Spooky Festival, among other events, was canceled.
• Candy Score is capped at 5,000 on ☀ Stranded profiles.
  • This cap was added after several instances of ☀ Stranded players using tricks to obtain over 100,000 Candy Score, which is not feasible to the same extent on regular profiles.
