Shadow Assassin Armor's full set bonus, Shadow Assassin, grants +1  Strength per enemy killed in a Catacombs run, resetting at the beginning of every run. Additionally, each piece of Shadow Assassin Armor grants the user a unique ability upon teleporting.

• The Shadow Assassin Helmet grants Invisibility and +20  Speed.
• The Shadow Assassin Chestplate grants +10  Strength for 10s.
• The Shadow Assassin Leggings restores 1% of the user's maximum  Health, with a cooldown of 3s.
• The Shadow Assassin Boots restores +10  Mana, with a cooldown of 3s.

 Ender Pearls,  Silent Pearls, the  Aspect of the End and  Void, the  Etherwarp Conduit, the  Sinseeker Scythe^[Confirm], the  Silent Death, the  Shadow Fury, and the Shadow Warp ability affect the different bonuses of each piece.

Shadow Assassin Armor pieces can be upgraded with  8 Livid Fragments, granting +5  Strength, +10  Health, and +1  Speed. This also replaces the Jasper Gemstone Slot with a Combat Gemstone Slot.

• The Shadow Assassin Armor is one of 9 armor pieces which have the darkest color with a hex color code of ⁠ #000000. The others are  Bat Person Armor,  Obsidian Chestplate,  Squid Boots,  Tarantula Armor,  Rancher's Boots,  Necromancer Lord Chestplate,  Snorkeling Armor and  Wither Armor.
• There used to be a 1/10,000 chance of a piece of Shadow Assassin Armor being a MYTHIC piece, instead of an EPIC. This is caused through 2  Recombobulator 3000s being applied, once upon viewing the chest, and a second upon opening the chest. It could then become DIVINE (previously SUPREME) if upgraded with  Livid Fragments.
• The Shadow Assassin Helmet is likely modelled after a Dark Hyrule Warrior.
