Hello!

As revealed in our recent Game Designer QnA, another Raffle of the Century is being held in celebration of SkyBlock reaching its 500th year! Compared to the previous celebration, this one is bigger, better, and goes on for longer!

The Year 500 event will begin at Wednesday 1st July, 12PM EST and last until Wednesday 8th July, 12PM EST.
A longer event means more time to participate and more chances to win big!

While the event is active, all players will receive the following buffs:

• +50% Skill XP
• +50% Dungeon XP and Dungeon Class XP
• +50% Slayer XP
• +50 Magic Find
• +50 Tracking

In Year 400, players would receive a list of 63 "Daily Tasks" that they had to complete every 24h to get their tickets. This led to a lot of frontloading where players would max out their tickets after a few hours and have no incentive to keep playing until tasks reset the next day. As a result, we have reworked the "Daily Task" system into a simpler set of "Raffle Tasks" that refreshes more frequently:

• All players now receive an identical list of 21 "Raffle Tasks" to complete. 7 Easy, 7 Medium, 7 Hard
• Tasks reset every 2 hours, after the Speed Raffle is drawn
• Players can now eat 25 cakes every 2 hours, which also resets when the Speed Raffle is drawn

Year 500 brings with it FOUR new Century Cakes!

1. Century Cake of the Seven Seas -> +1 Treasure Chance
2. Hephaestus' Century Cake -> +1 Tracking
3. Long-expired Century Cake -> +5 Sweep
4. Starborn Century Cake -> +1 Hunter Fortune

• Added a message notifying players when they become full
• Added the Artifact of the Century, which can be crafted from various cake slice minigame drops
• Improved the textures of the Slice of Red Velvet and Slice of Strawberry Shortcake
• Improved the itemlore of the various Enchanted Book Bundles
• Adjusted Gift Bag of the Century to now let you pick 1x of ANY item from the Minor Rewards pool
• Adjusted Dragon Roar sound to only play on Medium+ raffle reward claims
• The "Raffle Milestones" icon now becomes enchanted if you have unclaimed milestones
• Allowed for Century Cakes of the same type to stack
• Adjusted passive ticket gain from 1x every 30m -> 1x every 15m
• Added a passive to the "___ of the Century" talisman line that increases your chance of dropping Cake Souls
• Adjusted consolation rewards:
  • Speed Raffle ->
    • 1x Slice of Century Cake (random color) for each 5 raffle tickets entered into that raffle (max 10 raffle tickets)
  • Daily Raffle ->
    • 1x Slice of Century Cake (random color) for each 5 raffle tickets entered into that raffle (max 25 raffle tickets)
  • The Big One ->
    • If you entered at least 50 tickets you just get 1x Century Cake (random one, can be any)
    • If you entered less than 50 tickets overall, you don’t get a consolation reward
• Added 500 Coin NPC Sell Price to Token of the Century

• Improved Ananke Feather itemlore
• Improved Gift of Learning itemlore
• Crafted Salmon Hats are now unenchanted
• Renamed Magmarizer enchantment to Pyroclasm

• Made Pet-sized Cupcake not count as Pet Candy
• Removed Flower Minion and Prismatic V Enchanted Book Bundle from Medium Raffle Rewards
• Fixed buying Essence off the Bazaar counting towards the "Obtain Essence" Raffle Task
• Fixed Century Cakes obtained from the Raffles showing "Obtained in Year 100" instead of 500
• Fixed Gift of Learning obtained from Gift Bag of the Century showing as corrupted when trying to open it
• Fixed message for having eaten too much cake saying "for today" when it's in 2h intervals
• Fixed Cake Souls from Gift Bag of the Century always being pink

The Healing Revamp & Security Quest from the June 10th Alpha Session are also still available for testing on the Alpha Network as part of this session.

Note: As of June 22nd, Security Quest has been taken off alpha. Healing Revamp is still there.
