Rift Dimension

The Rift Dimension is a location accessible through the  Wizard Tower, unlocked upon reaching SkyBlock Level 12 . By acquiring a Dimensional Infusion, players can enter the Rift Dimension and progress through it, securing Rift Timecharms in the  Rift Gallery and progressing through the Rift Guide.

Dimensional Infusion

The Rift can be accessed by entering the Wizard Portal in the Wilderness by the mountain.

Players gain a free Dimensional Infusion every 4 hours. Up to 3 free Dimensional Infusions can be stored and used later.

Additionally, there are 4 more ways for a player to obtain a Dimensional Infusion which is needed to enter the Rift:

Paying Wizard 32 Grand Experience Bottles.
Paying Wizard 200 Bits. They can also toggle Auto-Buy, which automatically purchases Dimensional Infusion, but does not keep them in the Rift once their time runs out.
Having a Rift Prism in their inventory or Accessory Bag, or imbued through Erihann.
Accepting the Tal Ker Visitor offer in  The Garden.

A Dimensional Infusion is not consumed upon entering the Rift, and is only consumed upon leaving the  Wizard Tower. However, if a player joins the Rift 3 times using the same Dimensional Infusion it will be finally be consumed with the following message:

INFUSION GONE! Insta-consumed because you joined 3 rift instances with it!

If a server reboot happens while the player is in the Rift, their Dimensional Infusion will be refunded.

Locations

The Rift has 9 main locations:  Wyld Woods,  Black Lagoon,  West Village,  Dreadfarm,  Village Plaza,  Living Cave,  Colosseum,  Stillgore Château, and  The Mountaintop.

The  Stillgore Château grants the player access to Vampire Slayer.

Mechanics

Items, Stats, and Potion effects are not retained when between dimensions, and will only be present in their corresponding dimensions, with the exception of # Rift-Transferable # and # Rift-Exportable # items.

# Rift-Exportable # Items lose motes value when transferred between dimensions through the Rift Transfer Chest.

The player will only have the following Stats in the Rift:

Time

Rift Time is a stat that players gain once they enter the Rift. It determines how much time they have in the dimension before being teleported back to the Hub. Each point of Rift Time the player has represents one second in the Rift. The player starts off with a base Rift Time of 480s or 8 Minutes , but this can be increased with various modifiers. While the player is in the Wizard Tower (except for the bottom floor), Rift Gallery or Mirrorverse, their Rift Time does not deplete.

The player is warned when they have 10s remaining in the Rift. The player will become immune to any time-penalties during this period. If the player obtains more than these 10 remaining seconds (by doing things such as eating a Caducous Legume), the time-penalties will be still applied until the last 10s remaining, even though now you will not be warned.

Motes

The main currency in the Rift is Motes. They are first obtained by coming in contact with orbs that spawn around the Rift. Orbs give 25 Motes and +2 Rift Time everywhere, except for  Enigma's Crib, where they give 10 Motes and no Rift Time. Motes can also be obtained by killing mobs, selling items to the Motes Grubber or by completing bosses.

Orbs

Orbs are particles that spawn in the Rift. If the player comes in contact with an orb, they will gain 25 Motes and +2 Rift Time or 10 Motes if the orb is in  Enigma's Crib. Once the player has walked into the orb, it will disappear.

Orbs cannot spawn if there is another in a 20 block radius, and a maximum of 100 orbs can be present on the island.

Rift Transferables

Some items are # Rift-Transferable #, meaning they can be placed in the Rift Transfer Chest behind the Dark Auction in either dimension. The following items can be transferred from the main dimension to the Rift and vice versa.

Rift Exportable

The following items are # Rift-Exportable #. Once they have been transferred out of the Rift, their tag changes to # Rift-Exported # and they can't be sold to the Motes Grubber.

Lore

The Rift Dimension became accessible to the main dimension after Jythar used Fel Magic to attack it and separate the world of SkyBlock into islands.
Many have studied the Breach created on top of the Mountain, including Dr. Emmett, who accidentally became the first human to travel into the Rift Dimension. His adoptive son, Lathrop becomes The Watcher.
Years after Barry, Wizard and possibly other unspecified wizards, have succeeded in building a portal to safely travel to this dimension.

Trivia

The only Mayors that affect the Rift are Diaz and Aura.
The player takes no Fall Damage in the Rift.
The collectibles being called Enigma Souls is a reference to Enigma Datapacks from Batman: Arkham Origins.
