[December 13] Fann Day One Patch

We are here to inform you about the latest update that was just rolled to SkyBlock!

Fann's Training Sessions:

We are changing the scaling of the Fann's Pet Training as follows:

  • Free Training
    • 1,000-5,000 -> 20,000-40,000 EXP/day (scales with Taming level)
  • Light Training (Taming 20)
    • 10,000 -> 125,000 EXP/day
    • Now costs 200,000 coins/day (1.6 coins per EXP)
  • Moderate Training (Taming 30)
    • 40,000 -> 500,000 EXP/day
    • Now costs 1,000,000 coins/day (2 coins per EXP)
  • Expert Training (Taming 40)
    • 160,000 -> 750,000 EXP/day
    • Now costs 2,000,000 coins/day (2.67 coins per EXP)
  • Ultra Training (Taming 50)
    • 900,000 -> 1,000,000 EXP/day
    • Now costs 2,750,000 coins/day (2.75 coins per EXP)
  • Turbo! Training (Taming 60)
    • 1,275,000 -> 1,500,000 EXP/day
    • Cost remains at 3,000,000 coins & 500 bits per day (2 coins per EXP)

Why have these changes been made?

  • The new EXP values will help you reach your intended level a little faster than you were able to before.
  • For the cheaper plans, it will still take ages to level your pet to 100. If that’s your goal, you’re much better off using the more expensive options. The cheaper plans are not intended to be used to level your pet to 100. You could do it, but don’t expect to see your pet maxed out any time soon.
  • So what are the cheaper plans for? Cheaper plans are more efficient in terms of coin to EXP cost. By putting a pet in the Light plan for a day, I’m getting 1 EXP per 1.6 coins, compared to 1 EXP per 2 coins in the Moderate plan.
  • The prices are generally set based on Carrot Candy prices. Great Carrot Candy has a market price of around 200k coins, grants 100,000 Pet EXP, and everyone’s favorite “Pet Candy (1/10)” description. The Light plan costs 200k coins, gives 125,000 Pet EXP (25% more than the Great Carrot Candy), and doesn’t add “Pet Candy (1/10)” to your pet, with the opportunity cost of you having to wait a day to get your pet back. If you want some cheap, passive pet EXP for your pet, the lower-tier training plans are an option.

Other Changes

  • You will now be refunded the cost difference equivalent of the plan’s cost per EXP when using Ultimate Carrot Candy through Caducous Feeder on your pet during a training session.
    • In order to use a Caducous Feeder during a session, go find your pet in the playground upstairs during their training and right-click them!
  • The Confirm Training button now more accurately displays where your pet will be when using the Day Training duration.
  • Added an option to train for 1 Day.
