The Soul Whip can be used as a melee weapon or a ranged weapon.
When the Flay ability is used, a brown and black beam is shot in the direction the player is aiming. This beam has a parabolic trajectory, traveling forward 13 blocks and upwards 2 blocks. The beam travels through enemies, damaging all in its path; for the first 3 enemies hit, it deals its melee damage, then it is halved for every subsequent enemy hit. The ability does not consume Mana, but has a hidden cooldown of 0.5s. Holding right-click will continuously activate the ability.
The Soul Whip also deals 2x damage to Sea Creatures.

Tips
[edit | edit source]- Due to the low base Damage of the weapon, it is recommended to use the Suspicious reforge on it.
Trivia
[edit | edit source]- Melee-only enchantments, such Life Steal, Mana Steal, Sharpness, and Drain, work on the beam.
- When right-clicking with this weapon, the Autopet rule for throwing a fishing hook does not trigger.
- Like the
Halberd of the Shredded's Throw, when the whip projectile hits a mob, it is actually considered as that a melee hit is dealt by the player before the damage is affected by the ability's damage multiplier. This means that sword swap works with this weapon’s ability. - Despite the hidden attack cooldown of 0.5s, the Soul Whip can attack faster if the player spams the ability instead of holding right click.
Bugs
