Tier I
[edit | edit source]- Immolate - The Inferno Demonlord shoots fireballs to its target rapidly, only dealing Knockback. When the boss is alive, it deals True Damage depending on its health if players fighting it goes into its aggro range.
- Demonsplit - The boss splits into demons at 50% HP (1,250,000), named Quazii and Typhoeus (a Wither Skeleton and a Pigman appearance respectively). Upon spawning, only Quazii can be damaged. Typhoeus will be immune. Quazii will behave more aggressively, whereas Typhoeus, while immune, will be repelled by the player when within 5 blocks of them. When Quazii is defeated, Typhoeus will adopt more aggressive behavior and can be attacked. When Typhoeus is defeated, the Demonlord reforms and resumes attacking.
Tier II
[edit | edit source]- Hellion Shield - The boss has 99% Damage reduction from all sources. Only direct strikes from Blaze Slayer Daggers (Twilight Dagger, Firedust Dagger, Kindlebane Dagger, Mawdredge Dagger, Pyrochaos Dagger, Deathripper Dagger) attuned identically to the attunement of the boss's shield, enchantment damage from those strikes will ignore the shield and deal full damage to the boss. This excludes Ferocity, so Ferocity upgrades are ineffective. Every 8 strikes with the correct attunement, the shield will change its attunement, in order of Ashen > Spirit > Auric > Crystal then it goes back to Ashen. All other attacks have their damage reduced by aforementioned 99%.
- Demonsplit - The Demonlord splits into its demons once at 50% HP (5,000,000). The demons behave as before, but now also have shields, which similarly to Demonlord change every 8 hits. Quazii will alternate only between Spirit and Crystal, while Typhoeus alternates only between Ashen and Auric. When a shield switches, the immunity between Quazii and Typhoeus also switches. Regardless the immunity, both demons walks towards their target, but whoever gets the immunity keeps walking and retreating within a 5 block radius of the target. For example, when Quazii is spawned with Spirit and is hit correspondingly 8 times, Quazii becomes immune to damage, leaves and Typhoeus grants Ashen. Once Typhoeus is hit correspondingly 8 times, Typhoeus becomes immune to damage, leaves and Quazii grants Crystal. This process goes on until the demons are both defeated and the Inferno Demonlord reforms and resumes attacking.
- Fire Pillars - Beginning at 50% HP, every 20 seconds, the boss will prepare a fireball above its head for 3.5 seconds. Then, it will throw it in a random direction, where a 4-block high orange pillar will form. Such pillars must be destroyed within 7 seconds of being placed, by clicking them 8 times while having any Wisp Pet active. The pillar has no invincibility frames. The pillar gets 1 block shorter every two times it is hit until at 8 hits, it is no longer present. If it is not destroyed, all players fighting the Demonlord will take 1000 × Max Health as True Damage. This can be blocked by using the Wither Cloak Sword and Mithril Coat's abilities.
Tier III
[edit | edit source]- Demonsplit - The Demonlord splits into its demons twice, at 2/3 HP and 1/3 HP.
- ROFLcopter - Quazii gains a beam which spins slowly and is centered on Quazii's hitbox. If the player touches the beam, they will deal 1,500 True Damage, and Quazii will heal 20% of its health (1,000,000 hp at Tier III, and 2,000,000 hp at Tier IV).
- Fire Pillars - Fire pillars begin at 2/3 HP (30,000,000).
- DDR Apocalypse - Beginning at 1/3 HP (15,000,000), the boss will spawn up to 5 fire pits near the player regularly. Orange terracotta blocks will form in small cross shapes near the player, which turn to fire after 1.5 seconds. The fire deals 950 True Damage per second. Note that fire pits spawn immediately before the demons spawn, as well as immediately after.
Tier IV
[edit | edit source]The Demonlord functions identically to previous tiers.
- Demonsplit - It splits into its demons twice, at 2/3 HP (100,000,000) and 1/3 HP (50,000,000).
- Trail of Fire - Typhoeus gains a trail of fire following it. The fire deals 1,350 True Damage if contact is made.
- Fire Pillars - Fire pillars begin spawning at 2/3 HP (100,000,000).
- DDR Apocalypse - At 1/3 HP (50,000,000), the boss spawns up to 5 fire pits near the player at regular intervals though it deals 2,865 True Damage per second.
Tips
[edit | edit source]- While the boss does True Damage its demons deal high amount of regular Damage, therefore prioritizing one over the other too much will not work against the Slayer.
- If the player can deal high and rapid damage, the slayer boss will not be able to throw any fire pillars before the split or death. Damage nullification items like
Spirit Mask or Phoneix Pet should be prepared in case the player fails to deal enough damage in time or fails to breaking pillar. - Using
Opal Gemstone on combat slots of armor and daggers can help massively for nullifying the True Damage boss deals, if more survivability is needed. - When boss uses DDR-Apocalypse ability, blocks that will be lit will be marked on the ground, so make sure to avoid marked blocks.
Trivia
[edit | edit source]- Because of vanilla Minecraft AI and abilities, Typhoeus is stronger than Quazii. Therefore, the Firedust Dagger, Kindlebane Dagger and Pyrochaos Dagger are respectively stronger than the Twilight Dagger, Mawdredge Dagger and Deathripper Dagger if the Burning Vengeance ﬗ ability is counted.
- If both Quazii and Typhoeus spawn in a place which is one block large and get pushed, Quazii always gets pushed into the wall and take suffocation damage first.
- Contrary to its description, the DDR Apocalypse fire's damage is based on the player's current Health, not their max Health.
- Despite being classified as True Damage, the damage of the demons' ROFLcopter and Trail of Fire is unaffected by True Defense.

as far as i can tell it's a function of the max health of the entityrounded to nearest 10int lvl = Math.sqrt(maxHealth) / 2

Admin message incorrectly states nearest instead of lowest and later clarified.
