Mutations
Mutations
Mutations are a type of crop created in the Greenhouse. They are created by arranging crops in specific patterns around an empty soil plot and grant special positive and/or negative effects.
Mutations can be analyzed in the Crop Analyzer, accessed either via the Underground Lab or by calling 
Jake on an Abiphone. Analyzing a mutation for the first time grants bonus Copper and contributes to the DNA Analysis Milestone.
Mutations can be stored in the 
Mutations Sack. The recipes for it are unlocked at DNA Analysis Milestone I (1), DNA Analysis Milestone III (3), and DNA Analysis Milestone V (5).

Modifiers

Placed Mutations affect their surrounding Mutations and Crops. These effects will lock once the Mutation or Crop reach their final stage. Furthermore planting unique Crops in Greenhouse will give +3% Yield and +2.5% Growth Speed per, up to 12 times (
Moonflower and 
Sunflower count as the same crop, same for 
Red Mushroom and 
Brown Mushroom).

Ashwreath's Mutation chance is confirmed as 15%. It's 30% chance according to our weights, but we also have a mechanic where mutations happen depending on the surrounding crops. Since Fire isn't a crop, the chance of Ashwreath's mutation is only supported by the 2 netherwarts (25% + 25% = 50%), 30% * 50% = 15%.
Anyways, with the Bioanalysis Artifact buff, it should be 17.25%.
The anecdotal evidence could either be a result of small sample size, or sampling error, or there's a bug we're yet to have identified... We did take this opportunity to check for potential bugs but haven't found one during this investigation.Lonelily is special case, fermento and dead plants are indeed crops
