Overbloom

Overbloom is a stat that increases the chances of dropping Rare Crops from farming or vacuuming Pests. It has no effect while on the  Private Island.

Mechanics

The formula for the drop chance of Rare Crops including Overbloom is:

- This armor set needs to be enchanted with Thorns IV
- The player will need to use a Pufferfish Hat that came from a Raffle, considering it comes already with Thorns V

Using a set of Equipment that is reforged to Thorny and has a base LEGENDARY (to be recombobulated to MYTHIC)
- With the armor set described above, a player should have 17 tiers of Thorns on the armor (+12.8 )

Using a Farming Tool:

Any 4Mk. III Specialized Farming Tool

Recombobulated and reforged with an Overpriced Drink (+7 )

Enchanted with Feast V (+10 )

The maximum with an active Crop Fever is 201 Overbloom and 186 without.

This is important to note because the player cannot efficiently harvest all crops using Sun's Grasp, meaning this is the best for Cactus, Cocoa Beans, Melons, and Pumpkins.

Using a Vacuum:

Taking into account the attribute Pest Luck X ( Field Mouse Shard) (+5 ) grants against  Pests, the new total maximum would go to 189 Overbloom and 174 without.

Using a Sun's Grasp (Actively farming with fist):

Considering this item doubles all Overbloom, the player would end with a grand total of: 368 Overbloom and 338 without.

To utilize Crop Fever, the player would need to use a farming tool to activate the ability and then swap back to farming with a fist.
- This can be a loss of hourly Rare Crop rates, making 338 Overbloom the more realistic and optimal Sun's Grasp maximum.

Drop Chance for Feast Crops (a base 1 in 18,000):

Using a Farming Tool (at 201 Overbloom):

$\frac{1}{18, 000} to \sim \frac{1}{5, 980}$

Without Crop Fever:

$\frac{1}{18, 000} to \sim \frac{1}{6, 294}$

Using a Vacuum (at 189 Overbloom):

$\frac{15}{100} to \sim \frac{43.4}{100}$

Without Crop Fever:

$\frac{15}{100} to \sim \frac{41.1}{100}$

On Field Mice:

$\frac{30}{100} to \sim \frac{86.7}{100} with crop fever, and \sim \frac{82.2}{100} without$

Using a Sun's Grasp (at 368 Overbloom):

$\frac{1}{18, 000} to \sim \frac{1}{3, 846}$

Without Crop Fever (more realistic):

$\frac{1}{18, 000} to \sim \frac{1}{4, 111}$

Trivia

Overbloom was first teased by 55[ዞ] motorgorilla in the Cowshed Discord server.
An Ultimate Enchantment that increased Overbloom during the day was teased by 55[ዞ] motorgorilla in Cowshed, which was later revealed to be Moonlit^[1], and later renamed to Sunset.
