Crimson Isle

The Crimson Isle is a  Combat Location. It replaces the  Blazing Fortress; however, it is meant to be a more difficult Combat Island than  The End, with most of the mobs having several millions of  Health.

When the player first enters  Crimson Isle, they will be greeted with the following message:

The Crimson Isle can be accessed only after the player has attained  Combat XXII (22). It is traveled to by the use of a Launch Pad found in the back of the  Spider's Den.

There are 21 main sub-location:  Barbarian Outpost,  The Bastion,  Blazing Volcano,  Burning Desert,  Cathedral,  Crimson Fields,  Dojo,  Dragontail,  Forgotten Skull,  Kuudra's Hollow,  Mage Outpost,  Magma Chamber,  Mystic Marsh,  Odger's Hut,  Ruins of Ashfang,  Scarleton,  Stronghold,  The Wasteland,  Matriarch's Lair,  Belly of the Beast, and  Aura's Lab.

Factions are a new feature of the Crimson Isle. Players can gain reputation with Factions by killing mobs or doing quests (including Elle's main questline), giving access to special Items and features. There are two factions: the Barbarian Faction and the Mage Faction.

Guards patrol the cities of important Factions. They are passive, but become hostile when attacked.

Minibosses and the Magma Boss spawn around the island. They drop rare loot and spawn quickly after they are killed. Similar to the End Stone Protector they will leave iron blocks near death. Minibosses include the Magma Boss, Mage Outlaw, Bladesoul, Ashfang and Barbarian Duke X.

Bladesoul is the first boss of the Crimson Isle. It spawns in the  Stronghold every 2 minutes after it is killed. It has 50,000,000  Health.

The Magma Boss will spawn in the  Magma Chamber every 5 minutes after it is killed. It has 200,000,000  Health.

The Mage Outlaw spawns in the  Courtyard near  Scarleton every 2 minutes after it is killed. It has 70,000,000  Health.

The Barbarian Duke X spawns in the  The Dukedom near  Dragontail every 2 minutes after it is killed. It has 70,000,000  Health.

Ashfang will spawn in the  Ruins of Ashfang every 2 minutes after it is killed. It has 50,000,000  Health, having the least health of all the minibosses, however is a more complicated fight, usually requiring more than one player to defeat it.

Kuudra is a 4-player fight against a boss, similar to Dungeons. It takes place in  Kuudra's Hollow, and drops unique loot.

Vanquishers are similar to Special Zealots and are mini-withers that have 5,000,000  Health, which have a small chance to spawn after killing any mob in the Crimson Isle. They drop Nether Stars, which are used to buy Kuudra Keys from the Emissaries in each of the Factions' settlements.

The fishing mechanic in the Crimson Isle is different from the other islands.  Fishing Speed is capped at 350 instead of 300.  Fishing X (10) is needed to fish in the  Crimson Isle as the Starter Lava Rod has that requirement.

When fishing under a condition, Trophy Fishes can be caught. Trophy Fishes comes with a "rarity" of Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond.  Trophy Chance can increase the chance of catching Trophy Fishes.

  • Magma Boss and The Wither Lords have a similar attack pattern as well. Both of them spawn crowds of minions that deals massive damage. They also both deal high damage.
