Dwarven Mines

The Dwarven Mines is a location that is focused on Mining. It has several unique Dwarven Metals, including Mithril and Titanium: the Heart of the Mountain is also unlocked here.

Mining XII (12) and completion of Rhys' quest is required to access the Dwarven Mines.

Overview

The primary focuses of the Dwarven Mines are to complete Commissions, which are tasks given by the King, to level up your Heart of the Mountain, collect better tools via  The Forge, and collect different varieties of Powder: those being ᠅ Mithril Powder, ᠅ Gemstone Powder, and ᠅ Glacite Powder.

Tasks

When the player first enters  Dwarven Mines, they will be greeted with the following message:

Layout

Players will arrive in the  Dwarven Village, where Rhys can be found, as well as several commodities: Bubu sells pickaxes with various stats, Bulvar sells Tier 12 mining minions, Banker Broadjaw allows players to access their Bank, Lumina sells various light sources, Fragilis shows the Handy Block Guide, and Geo allows players to add Gemstones to their items.

The gate to the Crystal Hollows can be found at Gwendolyn, who can be found at the outskirts of the Dwarven Village: after reaching Heart of the Mountain IV (4), the player can pay a Coins fee to enter the Crystal Hollows for 6 hours.

Exiting the Dwarven Village will reveal a crossroads: the left path leads to the  Royal Palace via the  Palace Bridge, which overlooks the  Royal Mines; the right path leads to the rest of the Dwarven Mines via the  Gates to the Mines, which overlooks  The Forge.

Beyond the  Great Ice Wall, the  Dwarven Base Camp can be found: it is inaccessible without Heart of the Mountain VII (7) and completion of Dulin's quest, which also grants permanent free entry to the Crystal Hollows.

The Station Master can be found in the  Dwarven Village, with several Ticket Masters found around stations in the Dwarven Mines. After paying a small Coins fee, depending on your proximity to your desired location, players can enter a minecart and travel to other areas around the Dwarven Mines.

Events

Events will regularly happen around the Dwarven Mines every 20 minutes: they are either Active, Passive, or Random.

Gone with the Wind	Passive	While this event is active, mining in the direction of the wind grants increased Mining Speed.
Better Together	Passive	While this event is active, players gain increased Mining Speed and Mining Fortune when they are in the same zone as another player, up to 5 players.
Mithril Gourmand	Active	While this event is active, Don Expresso appears in the  Dwarven Tavern. Mining Mithril in a specified area has a chance to drop Tasty Mithril: 200 of this must be given to Don to complete the event, and giving at least 10 personally will grant extra rewards.
Raffle	Active	While this event is active, a Raffle Box appears in a random location: Raffle Tickets will also spawn in the zone, and must be handed in to the Raffle Box before the event ends. The more tickets you deposit, the higher the chance of you winning the raffle and gaining increased rewards.
Goblin Raid	Active	While this event is active, several hordes of Goblins will appear in a specified location and must be defeated within 5 minutes for participants to claim rewards.
Fallen Star	Random	A Fallen Star will randomly fall in a random location: Mithril, Titanium, and ᠅ Mithril Powder drops are increased, Starfall has a chance to be obtained, and Star Sentries will spawn.
Powder Ghast	Random	A Powder Ghast will appear in a random location and must be shot several times in order to be killed. Each successful shot grants ᠅ Mithril Powder.

Trivia

The map for the Dwarven Mines is internally called the Deeper Caverns.
The Dwarven Mines were possibly initially called the Dwarven Caves. Trying to use the Royal Pigeon outside of the Dwarven Mines would previously display the message, "You may not use this Item outside the Dwarven Caves!".
There used to be a hole in the ceiling (located at 66, 222, -83) that would lead the player onto the roof of the mines, where there was text, written in blocks, that read:
- "WHY ARE YOU UP HERE?"
  "COS"
  "THE NERVE!"
Before November 8, 2021, players could use the command /warpforge to travel to  The Forge, without having to consume a Travel Scroll. Since November 8, 2021, a Travel Scroll must be consumed in order for the command to function. Prior to the update, the command could also be used while combat tagged or as a spectator in Dungeons.
