Mythological Ritual

The Mythological Ritual is an Event that occurs when Diana is elected as Mayor with her Mythological Ritual perk, or when Candidate Jerry is elected with his Perkpocalypse perk rotated to perks from Diana.

During the event, players can equip a  Griffin Pet and use an  Ancestral Spade,  Archaic Spade, or  Deific Spade to dig up Griffin Burrows in order to obtain rare items, spawn  Mythological creatures for rare drops, and obtain Coins.

Griffin Burrows are chains of burrows found around the  Hub, which can be discovered using the  Ancestral Spade and its upgrades' Echo ability.

All burrows have a 75% chance to spawn a  Mythological creature, and a 25% chance to drop a treasure.

The treasure available from Griffin Burrows depends on which tier of Spade you are using to excavate them.

Occasionally, a  Mythological creature will spawn from a Griffin Burrow. Increasing the rarity of the player's  Griffin Pet will unlock 2 mobs per tier.

These will drop:

• ( Enchanted) Ancient Claws,  Enchanted Gold Ingots,  Mythological Dye;
• their signature drop;
• and, for some of them, an Attribute Shard which can be obtained through Hunting or the usage of Salts.

The rarity of the player's  Griffin Pet determines the summoned mob's prefix. One can upgrade their  Griffin Pet using a Griffin Upgrade Stone at Kat.

 Tracking is an important stat in many aspects of SkyBlock, but especially the Mythological Ritual: it increases the chance of  Elusive mobs spawning, which includes the Minos Inquisitor, Sphinx, Manticore, and King Minos.
