Mimic

The Mimic is a Dungeon Mob that sometimes spawns from Dungeon Secret chests.

Spawning

Mimics rarely take the place of secret chests in The Catacombs dungeon. They appear once on every dungeon that is The Catacombs - Floor VI or higher. The chests Mimics are found in are always a Trapped Chest.

Killing a Mimic yields +2 Dungeon Score.

Mimics can also be Charmed to obtain Mimic Shard and +500 Hunting XP. The amount of Attribute Shards dropped is affected by Hunting Fortune.

Trivia

When Mimics were first added at the release of The Catacombs - Floor VI, they could accidentally spawn in any Catacombs floor, even the The Catacombs - Entrance. They also have the same Health as the ones in Floor VI. It was then later patched and can only spawn in Floor VI and higher.
