Diamond Goblin is a passive Mob that rarely spawns instead of Golden Goblins from  Goblin Eggs, or by mining most ores in the  Dwarven Mines and  Crystal Hollows.

Diamond Goblin has a base 3.33% chance to replace Golden Goblins. This chance can be increased by Return to Sender Perk and  Tracking.

When the Diamond Goblin spawns, the following message will display in chat:
A Diamond Goblin has spawned!
Diamond Goblins will de-spawn after 30 seconds.

Diamond Goblins run away from the player, and jump off cliffs. Their behavior is similar to the Hidden Jerrys that can be spawned during Mayor Jerry's time in office.

• Despite the kill message being affected by Heart of the Mountain, Drills and Powder Pumpkin powder boosts, ᠅ Mithril Powder and ᠅ Gemstone Powder drops are not actually affected by them or any other buffs.

• The Luck of the Cave perk from Heart of the Mountain increases the chance for Golden Goblins which increases the chance of Diamond Goblins to spawn.
•  Shadow Fury can be used to chase a Diamond Goblin even if out of sight.
• Killing 1 Diamond Goblin is a possible task for Commission.
  • Using  Mineral Armor with a  Stonk in the Puzzler's room used to be a way to complete this quest quickly. However, this was patched when the ores in the Puzzler's room were filled with planks.
• Diamond Goblins contribute to the 100 necessary kills in the Goblin Slayer commission.
• Diamond Goblins cannot be spawned on the Private Island.
