Bonzo is the BOSS of Catacombs - Floor I of The Catacombs Dungeon. Bonzo also appears as a creature summoned by the Watcher on Floor 3 to 7.

MASTER Bonzo is also the BOSS of M1 of The Catacombs Dungeon.

Involved in the dark arts due to his parents' insistence. Originally worked as a Circus Clown.

The Fight

First Phase

Bonzo will continually summon Undead, and run around attacking players with wither skulls during his first phase. Bonzo holds the Dark Orb during the first phase. Bonzo has 250,000 Health and will move on to the second phase once players have killed his first phase.

Second Phase

Bonzo revives during his second phase, healing himself back to his max health and gaining Default Attack and Balloon Barrage.

Arena

Bonzo's arena is open in the center but has 7 different short pillars close to the edges. It heavily resembles a Circus arena, and Bonzo's first phase can go on top of the pillars. In his second phase, Bonzo's Balloon Barrage attack can aim his balloons on top of the pillars, meaning the only way to defend yourself against the attack is to either dodge the balloons yourself or hide behind a pillar.

Attacks

Default Attack - Strikes the player in melee range for damage.
- Bonzo uses this attack only during the second phase.
Wither Skull - Bonzo fires a Wither Skull at a player dealing 1,776 Damage.
- Bonzo uses this attack only during the first phase.
- In Master Mode, Bonzo shoots Wither Skulls more quickly.
Bonzo's Balloon - Bonzo fires a balloon at a player dealing 1,776 Damage.
- Bonzo uses this attack only during the second phase.
- This move is identical to Wither Skull.
- In Master Mode, he tends to shoot his balloons at an upward angle.
Balloon Barrage - Bonzo moves to the center of the arena before unleashing a barrage of balloons around him in all directions.
- Bonzo uses this attack only during the second phase.
Summon Undead- Bonzo will summon some Undeads to attack the player. The Undeads only have 45,000 Health and act like regular Zombies.
- Bonzo uses this attack only during the first phase.

Master Mode Changes

Bonzo has 200M and his Undeads have 15M.
Bonzo spawns Undeads more frequently in his 1st phase.
The Wither Skull and Balloon attacks deal 22,500 Damage.

Strategies

Drops

Bonzo does not drop anything directly, but players can rarely receive Bonzo's Mask, Bonzo's Staff, or Red Nose in chests after defeating him.

Later Floors

Bonzo will be revived by The Watcher in later floors, but with more Health and his phases will be removed. When Bonzo's Health is lower than half, he will keep unleashing barrages of balloons until he dies. Moreover, Bonzo doesn't have the same damage reduction as the other Undeads.

Trivia

Bonzo's second phase's design is based on the main antagonist Pennywise, the Dancing Clown from It.
- Bonzo's first phase's skin was a skin the admin Likaos had.
If every player in the dungeon has already completed Floor I before, or in Master Floor 1, he will just say "Oh I'm dead! Sike." when transitioning to phase two.
The music playing in the background of the boss fight is Superior Judgement from the Hypixel Noteblock Song Competition 2020.
Bonzo can reappear as a spirit The Watcher summons on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Floor.
Bonzo's line "You fools! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!" is a reference to Vizzini from The Princess Bride.
The item Bonzo holds in his first phase appears to be a Dark Orb.
Bonzo gets the most references by characters in the Catacombs. Every boss up to Floor 4, excluding The Professor, has at least 1 thing to do with Bonzo.
- The Watcher brings him back as an Undead.
- Scarf has a line that says "I can't believe Bonzo lost to someone so weak!"
- Some members of Thorn's audience will say "Avenge Bonzo! #RememberBonzo" or "Remember Bonzo! #NeverForget"
Bonzo had a optifine cape displaying the non-binary flag design.
When Bonzo is summoned as an Undead is defeated, it doesn't add to the collection.
