Phanpyres have a 11.8% chance to spawn when breaking a tree on Moonglade Marsh.

Phanpyres fly around before swooping in at a player. If a player throws a Lasso at a Phanpyre, it latches onto a Phanpyre and can be reeled in for capture. Successfully catching a Phanpyre drops an Attribute Shard.

Catching a Phanpyre with a Lasso grants  Phanpyre Shard and +75  Hunting XP. The amount of Attribute Shards dropped is affected by  Hunting Fortune.
