Glacite Walker

The Glacite Walker is a hostile mob that spawns in groups at the  Great Ice Wall in the  Dwarven Mines. They have high defense, but take more damage based on the Breaking Power of the tool used to attack them.

Glacite Walker can also be Charmed or put in a Black Hole to obtain Glacite Walker Shard and +150 Hunting XP. The amount of Attribute Shards dropped is affected by Hunting Fortune.

The Glacite Walker Slayer commission requires the player to kill 50 Glacite Walkers.

Behavior

Glacite Walkers are hostile to all players. As  Glacial mobs, they take no damage from regular melee weapons, instead they take more damage from Pickaxes, Drills, and Gauntlets, as well as Huntaxes.

Glacite Walkers will stop pursuing a player if the player stands inside or just outside the entrance to the  Great Ice Wall from  Divan's Gateway. The point at which they stop pursuit varies with each Glacite Walker.

Trivia

Much like Goblins and Treasure Hoarders, Glacite Walkers are unstable, meaning if they are killed the first few frames upon spawning, in which they are labeled as Armor Stands, it may result in a game crash. This is due to the spawning of this mob will create a Team that is already existing and is a fatal error to the game program.
Glacite Walkers are a great source of early game Combat XP. It's viable with just Glacite Armor, a Rogue Sword for mobility, and any pickaxe.
The Stonk is not very effective against Glacite Walkers, as in addition to its low Breaking Power, it also does not have a base Damage stat. A basic vanilla Wooden Pickaxe will deal 4x more damage.
The damage dealt to Glacite Walkers is determined by tool's Breaking Power, for every BP they will take 150x more damage than with a weapon. This stacks additively with itself, so for example a Pickaxe with 2 would deal 300x more damage.
- If a pickaxe with 0 existed, it wouldn't do any bonus damage.
- The maximum possible damage multiplier is 1800x at 12 , using a Scraped Divan's Drill and the Maniac Miner pickaxe ability.
- The damage from Pickaxes is still affected by their Defense, if the Pickaxes ignored Defense on top of having bonus damage, they would deal 1650x more damage per BP.
- The damage dealt can be further increased using the Titan Killer enchantment, which can be applied to a Gemstone Gauntlet.
