Deep Caverns

The Deep Caverns is a location focused on Mining. The players requires Mining V (5) to enter. Several unique resources can be found: Lapis Lazuli, Redstone Dust, Emeralds, Diamonds, and Obsidian.

Tasks

When the player first enters  Deep Caverns, they will be greeted with the following message:

NEW AREA DISCOVERED!

 Deep Caverns

■ Talk to the Lift Operator.

■ Mine valuable ores.

■ Watch out for mobs!

The Deep Caverns are divided into 6 layers (excluding the Dwarven Mines) that become progressively more dangerous the deeper traveled.

After discovering a layer for the first time, the player can be quickly travel to them with the Lift Operator.

Each layer has its own resources and its own hostile mobs that increase in difficulty as the player progresses deeper into the caverns.

The transition sections between levels does not spawn mobs from either floor and prevents them from entering said sections.
- This can be exploited, as the transition between the  Diamond Reserve and  Obsidian Sanctuary allows players to easily and safely mine high quantities of Diamonds.
