SCYLLAThe Scylla is a LEGENDARY Sword. It is one of four refined 
Necron's Blade variants, alongside the 
Valkyrie, 
Astraea and 
Hyperion. The Scylla’s strength when compared to the other Necron's Blade variants is its additional 12% Crit Chance and 35% Crit Damage.
The Scylla also grants +1 Damage and +1 Crit Damage per 
Catacombs level of the player. As with any Necron's Blade, it deals +50% damage to Wither mobs.
It deals the most single-hit melee damage of any Necron Blade, though it lacks the Ferocity, and as such DPS (Damage Per Second) of the Valkyrie, and the defense of the Astraea]. However, the high Crit Damage can be useful for the 
Wither Shield scroll ability, as the more Crit Damage you have the more it will heal you.
Note that any variant of Necron's Blade can be crafted into another variant using the corresponding recipe, keeping all enchantments and upgrades, though the 
Precursor Relics used in the recipe are consumed.

Trivia
[edit | edit source]- Currently, the sword is supposed to be an "Archer" class Sword because of its Crit Chance and Crit Damage, even though the archer class gets a large nerf on melee weapons. It could be used for Berserkers who want to optimize Crit Chance and Crit Damage, or players looking to get more healing out of Wither Shield.
- The name, Scylla, is a reference to the sea monster in Greek mythology, who snatched and devoured sailors as they pass by the Strait of Messina in The Odyssey.
- Both Scylla and Astraea have the most unique stats out of any sword in the game, at 6.
- Suspicious and Spicy pairs well with Scyllas.
- Donating a Scylla to the Museum gives credit for Astraea and Necron's Blade (Unrefined).
