A Mega Bat is a creature that spawns on any island during a Spooky Festival. It is the same as other Spooky Mobs, and the Mayor Jerry mobs, where it only takes 1 damage per hit, and drops items on hit instead of on death. This property is quite similar to the Powder Ghast. It drops candy, and has 100 (Runic Mega Bats have 400). Mega Bats can be located with an Echolocator.

The Mega Bat can spawn almost anywhere in the map. This can lead to some interesting spawn places like in the mountain or next to the void.
