Drop Chance
Drop Chance or Odds is the in-game denotation of how common a drop is from a Mob. Drop chances can be viewed through the bestiary when the player has gained enough kills against the mob.
Bestiary Mobs
[edit | edit source]- All drops, Rare Loot or up, will still shows "Rare Drop!" in chat even if that is not the rarity.
- Bestiary mobs do not share the same item drop chances:

Increasing drop chances
[edit | edit source]Drops from killing a mob that is not a Slayer Boss are generally affected by the following modifiers:
Certain other sources, such as the RNG Meter for slayers,
Hound Pet, or
Mole Pet can also increase the base drop chance of certain items.
Most items with drop chances that are lower than 5% after the above modifications are generally affected by Magic Find (as well as Pet Luck if it is a pet).
A general formula is as follows (with non-applicable buffs being set to 0):
For drops from Pests, Looting and Luck do not apply even if the player swaps to a weapon with those enchantments (e.g. with the help of a Pocket Black Hole). Additionally, instead of Magic Find, Overbloom is used. The formula looks like this:
Note that guaranteed drops from Pests use Farming Fortune and Crop Fortune with a different scaling formula.
