A Phanflare is a Critter on Moonglade Marsh.

Phanflares have a 7.1% chance to spawn when breaking a tree on Moonglade Marsh.

Phanflares fly around before swooping in at a player. If a player throws a Lasso at a Phanflare, it latches onto a Phanflare and can be reeled in for capture. Successfully catching a Phanflare drops an Attribute Shard.

Catching a Phanflare with a Lasso grants  Phanflare Shard and +75  Hunting XP. The amount of Attribute Shards dropped is affected by  Hunting Fortune.
