Nessie is a MYTHIC Sea Creature that can be fished up from water on Moonglade Marsh.

Nessie can be fished up from water on Moonglade Marsh. It requires  Fishing level XXV (25) or higher to be fished up.

The base Weight for Nessie is 25, resulting in a default catch chance of 0.25% (1 in 400 sea creatures) with all Sea Creatures unlocked. Certain modifiers can be used to increase its weight:

Nessie can also be Charmed to obtain  Nessie Shard and +10,000  Hunting XP. The amount of Attribute Shards dropped is affected by  Hunting Fortune.
Since this mob is  Elusive, Charming is guaranteed to proc on kill.

Loot Sharing with Nessies treats all drops obtained by the player who kills the Nessie as 100% drops, causing the same drops to be given to all players participating in Loot Sharing.

When caught, Nessie spawns in the  Murkwater Loch regardless of catch location. It deals damage in a ^{[More Info Needed]} block area around it. Upon reaching 1m  Health, it shrinks, becomes invulnerable, and swims into the  Murkwater Depths. It either swims to the  Driptoad Delve or the  Dragon's Lair. Once it reaches its destination, it will rapidly enlarge until it can once again be damaged, also attempting to attack the player once it has fully enlarged.

• Nessie is based on the Loch Ness Monster from Scottish folklore, which is also commonly named Nessie.
• Attacking Nessie with a  Soul Whip or  Flaming Flay during its invulnerability phase counts as ghost damage towards Loot Share requirements.

•  Nessie Shard is not a guaranteed drop even if the killer has an active Salt.^[Confirm]
• If one player drops an item from Nessie, all players eligible for Loot Share receive it as well.^[Confirm]
