The Oasis Sheep is an UNCOMMON Sea Creature that spawns while fishing in the  Oasis after unlocking  Fishing X (10). They act like normal Sheep, and deal no damage to the player.

Bringing one to Jake will allow the player to purchase the Hardened Wood.

An Oasis Sheep can be fished up from water in the  Oasis with a water Fishing Rod if the player has  Fishing X (10).

The base Weight for the Oasis Sheep is 700, resulting in a default catch chance of 13.22% (1 in 7.57 sea creatures) with all Sea Creatures unlocked. Currently there's no modifiers that can be used to increase it.
