The Spirit Sceptre primarily deals magic damage. Its Guided Bat ability shoots a bat in the direction the player is facing, guided by the wielder's crosshair. Upon hitting a mob or block, the bat creates an explosion with a radius of 6 blocks, dealing damage based on the wielder's Intelligence and Ability Damage.
Upgrading
[edit | edit source]The Spirit Sceptre can be converted into a Spirit Sceptre using 
Thorn Fragments to buff its stats. The upgrade grants the following bonus stats:

- +30 Intelligence

Trivia
[edit | edit source]- Bats spawned by the Guided Bat ability are buffed by the
Bat Person Talisman and its upgrades. - The Spirit Sceptre resembles the Bat Scepter from Terraria. Both shoot bats that drain mana to use. However, the Bat Sceptre automatically homes in onto enemies, unlike the Spirit Sceptre which homes in at the location the player is facing.
- Spirit Sceptre uses the British English spelling of the word "Scepter".
