Voracious Spider can also be Charmed or put in a Black Hole to obtain  Voracious Spider Shard and +75  Hunting XP. The amount of Attribute Shards dropped is affected by  Hunting Fortune.

• The Voracious Spider was most likely added as an easier way to complete Spider Slayer bosses as Spiders didn't spawn enough to make the Slayer mission progress at a steady rate.
