Yog can also be Charmed or put in a Black Hole to obtain  Yog Shard and +75  Hunting XP. The amount of Attribute Shards dropped is affected by  Hunting Fortune.

Yog hops after the Player, setting off an explosion effecting the blocks around it as it lands. Once a Yog is killed, a red bar appears over their head. After around four seconds, the bar finishes counting down, and they explode, dealing up to 10000  Damage to nearby players, or instantly killing players directly on the Yog. Drops are calculated after the death explosion, meaning Enchantments such as Looting are applied from the item the player is holding after the explosion.
