Tips

The Gemstone Gauntlet deals incredibly high Damage to  Glacial mobs, reducing the need to use a damage-oriented Power paired with a Drill.
It is recommended to have a high amount of Pristine to increase the drops from the Reduced to Atoms ability.
To reach 9 Breaking Power, to be able to mine all the mining resources, a Pocket Iceberg can be applied to the Gemstone Gauntlet, while also granting it some Mining Fortune and Mining Wisdom.

Trivia

This item is a reference to the Infinity Gauntlet from the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise.
Upon placing all 5 Gemstones into a Gemstone Gauntlet for the first time, the player will be awarded the "I call that... Mercy" Achievement.
- The name of the achievement is a quote by Thanos, spoken during Avengers: Infinity War.
The Gemstone Gauntlet, for 2 days following the release of Update 0.20.6, had the Gemstone Snap ability. This allowed the player to stack up kills in a meter, up to 150: once the meter was full, one could perform SNEAK + RIGHT CLICK to gain +50 Mining Fortune for 60m.
Players without Heart of the Mountain VI (6) can still apply Gemstones to the Gemstone Gauntlet.
Similar to Pickaxes and Drills, it can damage  Glacial mobs.
- Due to functioning as a both Pickaxe and a Sword, its Damage is amplified, especially with enchantments.
Despite having a slot at the top, which is revealed to be white when all 5 Gemstone Slots are filled with Perfect Gemstones, the Gemstone Gauntlet cannot have an Opal Gemstone equipped.
For a short while, during the testing of Some Mining Changes on the Alpha Hypixel Network, this item was classified as "Sword and Pickaxe" rather than the Gauntlet it was always classified on the main network.
The Gemstone Gauntlet is the only item that can have two stacking enchantments, Champion and Compact. This is due to the Melon Dicer and Pumpkin Dicer no longer supporting Absorb.
The Gemstone Gauntlet is the only gauntlet that is not an equipment piece.

Gallery

When a slot is filled by a Perfect Gemstone, the texture will change to show it applied. When all 5 Perfect Gemstones are added to the Gauntlet, the Gemstone Gauntlet will change appearance from dark gray to gold. In total, there are 32 different appearances for this item. These are all the Gemstone Gauntlets with different slots filled by perfect gemstones.
