Fallen Stars are randomly occurring events in the Dwarven Mines that spawn 
Star Sentries and increase ore drops.
Mechanics
[edit | edit source]The Fallen Star is an event that lasts roughly 5 minutes and 40 seconds. A Fallen Star will crash in one of the following locations, causing Star Sentries to spawn around it.
- Royal Mines
- Far Reserve
- Goblin Burrows
- Upper Mines
- Rampart's Quarry
- Great Ice Wall
- Cliffside Veins
Fallen Stars increase Ore and ᠅ Mithril Powder drops by an additive +2 per block mined.
While random, Fallen Stars odds can be boosted by the perk Luck of the Cave.

Trivia
[edit | edit source]- A special animation will be played prior to the star crash, starting near the Purple Crystal in the Cliffside Veins, where one of the orbiting stars will go off-course and travel towards its crash location.
- The 2x Powder event works on the powder bonus.
- The ore drop increase is not multiplied by Mining Fortune, Mining Fiesta or Sky Mall's 5x Titanium, being an additive bonus added after all drop multipliers [More Info Needed].
Refined Mineral and Compact drops are tripled by the Fallen Star.
- It remains unclear as to why the perk description does not reflect this.
