The Sapphire-Polished Drill Engine is a RARE Drill Part that can be obtained from forging in  The Forge in the  Dwarven Mines. It increases Drills'  Mining Speed by +400 and  Mining Fortune by +50. It is the upgraded form of Ruby-Polished Drill Engine.

The Sapphire-Polished Drill Engine can be forged once the player has reached Heart of the Mountain VIII (8). It takes 30 seconds to forge.

The Sapphire-Polished Drill Engine can be applied to any Drill via Drill Anvil, to increase its stats by +400  Mining Speed and +50  Mining Fortune. It can then be removed via the same menu for 9,999 Coins, which gives the item back to the player.

It is also used in forging the  Amber-Polished Drill Engine, which requires Heart of the Mountain IX (9) and takes 30 seconds.
