The Star Sentry is a Mob that spawns near Fallen Stars in the Dwarven Mines.

Star Sentries are spawned by the Fallen Star Event, which spawns at some of the sub-locations of the  Dwarven Mines:

•  Royal Mines
•  Far Reserve
•  Goblin Burrows
•  Upper Mines
•  Rampart's Quarry
•  Great Ice Wall
•  Cliffside Veins

Unlike regular mobs, Star Sentries drop their item drops on hit, not on kill.

Star Sentry can also be Charmed or put in a Black Hole to obtain  Star Sentry Shard and +300  Hunting XP. The amount of Attribute Shards dropped is affected by  Hunting Fortune.

The Star Sentry takes 1  Damage per hit, regardless of the Accessories, Weapons, or Armor used. They do not take  Damage from a weapon's Thunderlord Enchantment, requiring the Star Sentry to be hit 10 times.

While idle, they will wander around the Fallen Star they were spawned by, only attacking and following the player if they are within 5 blocks of them. They are quick to lose aggression if outside that range.

• The internal name of this mob is "Crystal Sentry".
