WISHING_COMPASS

The Wishing Compass is an UNCOMMON item which points players to important locations within the  Crystal Hollows.

The player can find  3 Wishing Compass in treasure chests scattered around the Crystal Hollows.

When the Wishing Compass is used, a line of green particles will appear. These particles make a straight line towards a certain location.

The Compass will point to different locations based on the conditions of the player.

• In  Goblin Holdout:
  • Without King's Scent: Leads to King Yolkar's location
  • With King's Scent: Leads to  Goblin Queen's Den
• In  Precursor Remnants: Leads to  Lost Precursor City
• In  Mithril Deposits: Leads to  Mines of Divan
• In  Jungle:
  • Without  Jungle Key in inventory: Leads to Odawa's location
  • With  Jungle Key in inventory: Leads to  Jungle Temple
• In  Magma Fields: Leads to  Khazad-dûm
• If all 5 Gemstone Crystals have been found and not yet placed, it will lead to  Crystal Nucleus

Due to how  Crystal Hollows lobbies generate, it is possible for some structures to not generate, leading to the Compass to say the following message instead, and the Compass does not get consumed:

• There used to be a section of the lore that was a reference to Jack Sparrow's compass from the Pirates of the Caribbean.
  • The lore read: The origin of this unique compass is shrouded in mystery. It is said that it once belonged to the greatest pirates to sail the seas. The bigger mystery is how ended up so far underground.
