Jungle Temple

The Jungle Temple is a Location in the  Jungle of the  Crystal Hollows where the Amethyst Crystal can be obtained.

Tasks

When the player first enters  Jungle Temple, they will be greeted with the following message:

NEW AREA DISCOVERED!

 Jungle Temple

■ A vast and sprawling underground civilization.

■ Temples and puzzles hide their treasures.

■ ...and deep secrets.

Mechanics

The Jungle Temple main building houses the Amethyst Crystal. The Crystal is guarded by a series of 8 simple parkours with traps. 2 treasure chests also spawn at the end of the parkour; these chests have higher chances to contain a Jungle Heart. Using a Wishing Compass in the Jungle with a Jungle Key points towards the Jungle Temple.

A Jungle Key is required to enter the temple and obtain the Amethyst Crystal at the end of the parkour.

The door to the Jungle Temple will open when players interact with either Kalhuiki Door Guardian at the entrance using the Jungle Key.

If the player falls into or touch any body of Lava during the run, the run ends and the player will be teleported back to the entrance. The player then will need to submit another Jungle Key if they wish to reattempt the run.

Within the Jungle Temple area, the player's jump boost (from the Rabbit and Jump Boost effects) is removed, and any bonus Speed is removed, only leaving base Speed (from Fairy Souls etc.)

Trivia

The Black Cat Pet used to be able to bypass the Speed cap of the Temple.
- This has since been patched.
It is possible to enter the Temple without using a Jungle Key, by mining at a precise location near the entrance stairs. However, if the parkour is completed without the usage of a temple key, the player cannot open any loot chests near the crystal and will be presented with this message when trying to obtain the crystal: "You haven't earned this Crystal! Come back when you have >:-)".
Sometimes, the Jump Boost potion effects are not properly removed upon entering the Jungle Temple area. This can be fixed by leaving and re-entering the area or disabling the Rabbit effect in the cookie buff menu.
