Goblin Egg is an UNCOMMON or RARE item that can be obtained from Goblins in the  Dwarven Mines and  Crystal Hollows or from chests in the  Crystal Hollows.

Goblin Eggs can be dropped from chests in the  Goblin Holdout in the  Crystal Hollows. The chests can either be found in naturally spawning structures like the Goblin Queen's Den and by King Yolkar or can be spawned by the player while mining Hardstone in the  Goblin Holdout.

When throwing a Goblin Egg, there's 2% (1 in 50 eggs) chance to spawn a Golden Goblin. There's a base 3.33% chance to be replaced with Diamond Goblin. Golden Goblin cannot be spawned on Private Island.

The Goblin Egg can be used as a Machine Fuel, adding 2,000  Fuel.

A  Goblin Egg of any type can be used to obtain King's Scent Potion Effect from King Yolkar, which is used to obtain the Amber Crystal.

• The first time spawning a Golden Goblin from throwing an egg will grant the "The Next Generation" Achievement.
• Throwing these contributes to the "Egg Thrower I" Hypixel achievement.
• The lore is a reference to the saying "which came first, the chicken or the egg?"
