Electron Transmitter can also be found as a drop from treasure chests within the  Precursor Remnants. It has a 0.34% chance to roll as a drop in common loot chests, and a 0.29% chance to roll as a drop in rare loot chests.

Bringing an Electron Transmitter and the other 5 Automaton components to Professor Robot in the  Lost Precursor City rewards the player with the  Sapphire Crystal.
