Puddle Jumper is a LEGENDARY Sea Creature that can be fished in Water on the  Lotus Atoll.

Puddle Jumper can be fished up anywhere on the  Lotus Atoll once the player is  Fishing X (10).

The base Weight for Puddle Jumper is 100, resulting in a default catch chance of 1% (1 in 100 sea creatures) with all Sea Creatures unlocked. Certain modifiers can be used to increase it:

When caught, a red halo appears around the Puddle Jumper. It waits for the player to cast their fishing line onto it. After 5 seconds, regardless of whether the player has hooked it, the halo turns green and the Puddle Jumper hops to another location. A new red halo appears first upon landing and shows COME AND GET ME! on its head, acting as a timer before the next jump.

If the player successfully hooks the Puddle Jumper, they will be pulled along as it jumps. The Puddle Jumper will hop a total of 5 times before stopping and shows RIBBIT above every time they jump. It drops its loot 13 seconds after the final halo appears.

Additionally, if the player does not miss a single hook throughout the encounter, they are awarded with an extra  Silver Lotus.

• It's not necessary for any player to hook the Puddle Jumper, as it can finish its journey on its own.
• The player who fishes up a Puddle Jumper always gets its loot, even without jumping with it.

• Donating the Puddle Jumper Trophy Frog to Researcher Ribery grants significantly more  Lotus than either its base drop or the bonus  Silver Lotus for jumping with it 5 times.
  • The only case this is false is if the player drops a  Gold Lotus.

• Despite not being a Fishing Rod, the  Grappling Hook can be used to hook the Puddle Jumper.
• Puddle Jumper doesn't get affected by Expertise  Fishing XP boost.
• During the first and second testing sessions on the Alpha Hypixel Network, fishing up a Puddle Jumper on ☀ Stranded would crash the lobby.
  • The ability to fish up Puddle Jumpers (as well as all other Lotus Atoll Sea Creatures) on ☀ Stranded was later disabled, presumably at least in part due to this bug.
