Treasure Chance

Treasure Chance is one of the player's Fishing Stats. It determines the likelihood of obtaining treasure whilst fishing.

Mechanics

Treasure Chance determines the chance a player has to catch treasure while fishing, assuming they do not catch a Sea Creature.

Increasing Base Treasure Chance

Players have a base 0 Treasure Chance by default. It can be increased by:

Leveling the Fishing Skill. (+0.1 per level), up to +5 Treasure Chance at Fishing L (50)
Pearl of the Swamp: +1 Treasure Chance

Certain Enchantments can be applied to items via an Enchantment Table or Anvil to grant Treasure Chance. The items with the Enchantment applied must be used to take effect.

Luck of the Sea
Increases Treasure Chance by 0.5 per level.

Tips

Using either a Treasure Hook or 2+ pieces of Bronze Hunter Armor or higher tier can help with fishing treasure as they disable catching Sea Creatures, which are rolled before treasure.
