The Starter Lava Rod is an UNCOMMON Lava Fishing Rod.

The Starter Lava Rod is obtained by talking to Odger in the  Crimson Isle at the top of the  Blazing Volcano. He will give the player one for free on their first interaction. They can be bought later for 10,000 Coins from Odger.

The Starter Lava Rod can be used to fish in Lava. It requires  Fishing X (10) to be used.

A Starter Lava Rod with no enchantments can be used to fish up Vanille Trophy Fish.

• Unless going for the Vanille Trophy Fish, it is recommended to use a  Topaz Rod instead if the player has reached  Fishing XIX (19) and Heart of the Mountain V (5) but not  Fishing XXVII (27).
