The Powder Ghast is a mob that spawns randomly in Dwarven Mines.

The Powder Ghast has a 0.02% (1 in 5,000) chance to spawn when any player on Dwarven Mines breaks a  Mithril Ore. Powder Ghast spawning has a 10m cooldown. Spawn chance can be boosted with Luck of the Cave and Tunnel Vision HotM abilities.

Powder Ghast can spawn in one of the following locations: Divan's Gateway, Rampart's Quarry, Cliffside Veins or Forge Basin.

The Powder Ghast flies around the spawn location, while trying to fly away from players. If the Powder Ghast is not killed whitin a minute, it will de-spawn. De-spawn timer resets after each hit. The Powder Ghast cannot take melee hits.

Powder Ghast drops 100-250 ᠅ Mithril Powder with each hit.

This totals to 17,500 ᠅ Mithril Powder total on average.

• A Powder Ghast can be cocooned, which makes it immune to ranged damage, in addition to its normal melee damage immunity.
  • This makes the cocooned Powder Ghast effectively unkillable and it will simply despawn after a minute.

• Bows are the only efficient way to attack it since it is immune to magic and melee damage.
• By using Spirit Boots or Tarantula Boots, players are able to stay close to it and damage it.
• Ferocity impacts the hits done, so items like Werewolf Armor and Tiger Pet can help do more damage.
