Public Speaking Demon is a mob that spawns during the Great Spook event after the death of a Primal Fear.

Unlike other Primal Fears, the Public Speaking Demon spawns in a group of 5. They will walk slowly toward the player once spawned, dealing 1  Damage. They have 5  Health and like Spooky Mobs, take only 1  Damage per hit. Upon reaching 1  Health, they encourage the player to speak, with which the player must comply to be able to damage the Public Speaking Demon again. The message must be at least ten characters long.

• If any of the Public Speaking Demons fall to the void, the others despawn and the player gets rewarded as if they killed them.
• A Public Speaking Demon may display dialogue from a Darkness Shade above its head.
• When it was first released, muted players were unable to complete the Public Speaking Demon's quest. This was fixed a day later.

• Sometimes not all of the Public Speaking Demons lose  Health upon the others being hit. This allows the player to hit one that still has more  Health after one drops to 1  Health, bypassing the speaking requirement.
• While in the Catacombs as a Berserk, Public Speaking Demons cannot be damaged while holding a weapon due to a bug with the Weapon Master class ability. However, they can be damaged with the player's fist.
