Primal Fear

Great Spook Exclusive
Primal Fear is only available during The Great Spook, when the Tyashoi Alchemist is present in the  Village.

Primal Fear is a hostile Mob that spawns during the Great Spook event.

Spawning

Primal Fears can spawn when a mob is killed during the Great Spook every 6 minutes if the player has 0 Fear.

The cooldown is reduced by 3 seconds for each point of the player's Fear stat. The timer starts once a Primal Fear is summoned and the remaining cooldown can be seen in the tablist.

The base cooldown is always 6 minutes, and the time reduction by Fear will be subtracted from the base time. Any changes of Fear will be reflected on the cooldown instantly. Because of this, the current Fear at the moment of spawning a Primal Fear doesn't affect the cooldown of the next one.

Behavior

Primal Fears will slowly walk toward the player once spawned, dealing 1 Damage. They have 5 Health and, like Spooky Mobs, take only 1 Damage per hit. The only way to increase this is using the Eerie Pet. Upon death, they spawn a manifestation ( Commitment Phobia, Darkness Shade, Deadline, Math Teacher, Public Speaking Demon or Vegan Crawler).

Trivia

Looting does not work on Primal Fears or their manifestations.
If a Primal Fear falls into the void, the player still receives the drops of both the primal fear and its manifestation.
