The Great Spook

The Great Spook is an annual event.

Each Great Spook takes place in real-life October and lasts for about two weeks, with the exact start time varying. During the Great Spook, the amount of Spooky Festivals are usually increased and several exclusive NPCs and mobs spawn.

During the event, the Tyashoi Alchemist appears. Players who are at least  Combat X (10) and have 10 hours of playtime can participate in their questline to obtain various exclusive items and the  Eerie Pet.

During the Great Spook, killing a mob has a small chance to spawn Primal Fears. Once killed, they spawn a manifestation where, in order to be killed, a player must perform a specific action depending on the manifestation spawned. Once killed, they drop  Dark Candy.

Vargul the Unearthed appears in the  Unincorporated zone during the Great Spook. Players can donate  Dark Candy obtained from Primal Fears to obtain various rewards.
