Pets

Pets are companions that can be summoned, giving bonus Stats and one or more different perks. They can be accessed and managed in the Pets Menu, which can be accessed through the SkyBlock Menu.

The stats and perks that a Pet gives are dependent on its level and rarity, and every pet has a specific Skill attributed to it. Pets can level up by gaining Skill XP, and they gain the most Skill XP when the player gains XP for its attributed Skill (i.e. a  Zombie Pet would gain the most XP from  Combat, a  Rabbit Pet would gain the most XP from  Farming, etc.); the rarity of a Pet can be increased by upgrading them at Kat.

The higher level and rarity a Pet has, the better its stats and perks are, and the more perks it has: commonly, at LEGENDARY, a Pet will have 3 perks, although some will have 4 or 5 perks at max rarity. Most pets belong to one of 8 skills:  Combat,  Mining,  Fishing,  Foraging,  Farming,  Enchanting,  Alchemy, and  Taming. The  Bingo Pet is an All Skills pet, the Wisp Pet is a Gabagool pet, and the  Montezuma Pet is a Fractured Soul pet; Gabagool Pets are leveled up by being fed Gabagool.

Pets can be obtained in multiple ways:

• Crafting, through the use of an  Egg,  Enchanted Egg, or  Super Enchanted Egg;
• Mob drops, from mobs like Ender Dragons, Scathas, Yetis, or Loch Emperors, which are affected by  Magic Find and  Pet Luck;
• Purchasing, from places like the Dark Auction or specific merchants;
• Forging, through The Forge;
• Milestone rewards, such as  Mining,  Fishing, and the Kuudra boss collection.

All pets that are crafted start at COMMON, and must be upgraded through Kat; however, some pets only start at certain rarities, like RARE or EPIC. Some pets can be upgraded to MYTHIC at Kat, and will need a special item to upgrade.

The Pets Menu can be opened by using the Commands /viewpetsmenu, /petsmenu, /petmenu, /pets (empty by default), or by accessing it from the SkyBlock Menu. Here, players can view and manage their pets, view their Pet Score and Autopet rules, and manage more options.

Pets Menu can hold maximum of 112 pets by default. It can be upgraded with 5,000 Bits to unlock 28 more slots. This upgrade can be bought twice.

Exp Sharing is a system that allows players to level up without having them be actively deployed. Players can assign a Pet to an Exp Share slot, upon which the Pet will gain the summoned Pet's XP at a reduced rate. Players have 1 slot unlocked by default, while the other 2 slots are only functional while Diana is in office with her Sharing is Caring perk active.

The player can increase the percent shared, to a maximum of 47%, by:

1. leveling their  Taming level: 0.2% per level, up to 12% at  Taming LX (60);
2. equipping an  Exp Share on a pet in an active Exp Share slot for 15%;
3. while Diana is elected with her Sharing is Caring perk for 10%;
4. with the Why Not More attribute active for 1→10%.

Pets in Exp Share slots do not gain XP if a pet is not summoned.
Pets in Exp Share slots that are actively deployed do not gain increased XP. XP gained this way is still subject to the ×0.33 penalty of leveling a different skill than the Pet's, and will also receive the ×1.5 reward if you're gaining  Fishing XP.

Pet Score is a metric that rewards  Magic Find and SkyBlock XP as the player collects unique pets, of higher rarity, of higher levels.

• Pet Score:
  • Unique pets of higher rarity award +1→6 Pet Score. If the player possesses duplicates of the same pet, only the one with the highest rarity else the highest level is considered.
  • Pets at their maximum level award +1 Pet Score.
• 3 SkyBlock XP are granted for each point of Pet Score.
•  Magic Find is granted at certain thresholds of Pet Score.

3 means can increase a Pet Rarity: Kat, the  Tier Boost Pet Item, and Pet-specific conditions.

• Kat resides at the front of the  Pet Care. Given a Pet and varying amounts of Coins time and items, she will upgrade its rarity by 1 tier:
  • The Coins cost can be decreased: for each Pet Level, an additive discount of 0.3% is applied, up to 30% at [Lv100].
  • The time cost can be decreased:
    (A) by offering her  Kat Flowers (-1 day per) or  Kat Bouquets (-5 days per), both purchased from the Bits Shop for 500 Bits or 2,500 Bits respectively;
    (B) by using an  Enchanted Clock (-1 hour with a cooldown of 48 hours).
  • The upgraded pet will have its level adjusted based on its XP. For example, a [Lv86] RARE pet with 4.6 million cumulative will be adjusted to [Lv81] when it is upgraded to EPIC.
  • Some Pets cannot be upgraded this way:  Grandma Wolf Pet,  Montezuma Pet,  Rift Ferret Pet,  Kuudra Pet,  Wisp Pet and  Bingo Pet.
• Using a  Tier Boost Pet Item will boost the rarity of a pet by 1 tier (similar to a  Recombobulator 3000) until the Pet Item held by the Pet is changed.
• Some Pet-specific conditions exist:
  • • The  Grandma Wolf Pet is upgraded exclusively^[Confirm]through Bestiary Milestones;
    • The  Kuudra Pet is upgraded through  Kuudra Chunks;
    • The  Bingo Pet is upgraded through Ⓑ Bingo ranks;
    • The  Wisp Pet is upgraded exclusively through  Wisp Upgrade Stones;
    • The  Montezuma Pet is upgraded exclusively through finding  Enigma Souls.

Pets can be sold directly for Coins based on their type and Rarity to George, located at the  Pet Care.

Each of the pets below will increase player's  Taming level cap by 1, from 50 to 60 when sold to for the first time at the listed rarity or higher. The order does not matter.

• Summoned pets can be leveled up to [Lv100], with the exception of the  Golden Dragon Pet,  Jade Dragon Pet, and  Rose Dragon Pet, which can go to [Lv200].
• Pets gain experience from the players gaining Skill Experience with the pet equipped, with the following exceptions:
  • The  Wisp Pet, which is leveled up through feeding it Gabagool;
  • The  Carpentry,  Taming,  Dungeoneering,  Runecrafting and  Social skills do not give pet experience.
• Multiple factors affect the pet experience gained, they stack additively or multiplicatively. Additive factors are applied first.
  • Additively: ☯ Wisdom is a type of stat that increases the Skill XP the player gains for a specific Skill.
  • Multiplicatively: these are compatible with Gabagool. Pets can also gain experience with Exp Sharing.

For example: with a summoned  Magma Cube Pet (a  Combat pet), 100% of  Combat experience earned by the player will be granted to that pet. However, only 33% of  Farming experience earned by the player will be granted to that pet.

Another way to level pets is by feeding them:

• Carrot Candies exist in 4 variants, each giving different amounts of pet experience:
  •  Simple,  Great and  Superb Carrot Candies are unlocked from  Carrot collection at tiers 2, 6 and 8 respectively.
  •  Ultimate Carrot Candies are crafted from  8 Superb Carrot Candies and  1 Ultimate Carrot Candy Upgrade, the latter bought from Elizabeth for 8,000 Bits at the  Community Center.
  • Pets can consume a maximum of 10 Carrot Candies during their lifetime. However,  Ultimate Carrot Candies fed via the  Caducous Feeder do not count towards this limit.
•  Chyme gives 90,000 Pet Experience and is obtained from Aranya on the  Crimson Isle.
•  Pet Cake gives 10,000 Pet experience and is obtained from Oringo on  The Garden.
•  Fish Food gives varying amounts of Pet experience and is obtained by losing a  Loudmouth Bass duel.

Players can give their pets to Fann to gain Experience over time. This amount can be increased by paying more Coins and Bits. It can also be increased by placing an  Owl Pet along with the pet.

Players can give Fann multiple pets at the same time to train by feeding  Hootie with  5 Great Carrot Candy and  1 Ultimate Carrot Candy.

 Enchanted Clock can be used to fast-forward the training by 1 hour, similarly to Minions with expirable fuel, this doesn't make make the process more valuable (as in, more xp per Coins spent), only faster. This effect has 48 hour cooldown.

Gabagool Pets do not level up through Skill experience gain, and instead gain experience by being fed Gabagool. This is still affected by  Taming,  Beastmaster Crest, Battle Experience, and  All Skills Exp Boost or  All Skills Exp Super-Boost. Currently the only Gabagool Pet is the Wisp Pet.

• Pet Items are items that can boost the benefits given by pets.
• Each pet can hold only one Pet Item at a time;
• Pet Items can be given by right-clicking the pet item onto the pet physically while it is active (not in the pets menu).
• Pet Items are free to apply but cost Coins to be retrieved. This can be done:
  • using a  Super Scrubber, without applying a new Pet Item.
  • using any Pet Item, to replace the current equipped one.
• Zog sells various Pet Items in exchange for Coins, most of which can be upgraded with a  Zog Anvil: other Pet Items can be obtained from the Mythological Ritual, event rewards, or mob drops.

There are currently 81 pets available on the main server (80 on non-Ⓑ Bingo profiles), each granting a variety of different benefits and advantages.

Some important notes to mention:

• Important: Pet stats are increased every level, but the number displayed in the tooltip is always rounded down. This means that, if a pet gives +3.75  Crit Damage, the number displayed in the tooltip will be 3. On the other hand, the SkyBlock Profile will display numbers rounded properly.
• Having a specific collection is required only to craft the pet. Players can use every pet without any restrictions.
