Griffin Pet

A Griffin Pet is a Combat Pet that can be obtained from Diana while she is the Mayor with the Mythological Ritual active. It increases the difficulty and rewards from the Mythological Mobs based on its rarity.

Obtaining

A Griffin Pet can be obtained from Diana when she is elected as Mayor with the Mythological Ritual active. When purchased from Diana, it will always be the COMMON rarity.

A Griffin Pet can be upgraded with Griffin Upgrade Stones at Kat.

Usage

Mythological Ritual

While the Griffin Pet is active,  Mythological creatures can be excavated from Griffin Burrows. The rarity of the Pet determines the strength and prefix of the creatures summoned, and you cannot damage  Mythological mobs without having the rarity of the Griffin Pet required to summon it or higher equipped.

Four-Eyed Fish

Players can equip their Griffin Pets with a Four-Eyed Fish, which grants 13 Magic Find and 55 Defense, as well as an additional 2,000 Coins when excavating Griffin Burrows: this is affected by Crown of Avarice and the King of Greed attribute.

Trivia

It used to grant abilities at UNCOMMON and EPIC instead of at RARE.
King of Kings is likely a reference to the mythological roots of the Griffin; in Persia, the kings are referred to as Shahanshah, which means King of Kings.
Prior to gaining a MYTHIC rarity, the Griffin Pet used to be upgraded by clicking it with the Griffin Upgrade Stone, similar to a Droplet Wisp Pet.
