 Mining Fortune is a mining stat that increases the chance of receiving additional drops when mining. It has no effect while on Private Island.

Every 100  Mining Fortune guarantees one additional set of drops, while any remaining Mining Fortune acts as an equivalent percentage chance to receive one more set.

 Mining Fortune applies to blocks broken by  Mining Spread.

Variants of  Mining Fortune include  Block Fortune,  Ore Fortune,  Dwarven Metal Fortune, and  Gemstone Fortune. These stats are added to regular Mining Fortune when mining their respective block types.

Players have 0  Mining Fortune by default. It can be increased by the following permanent sources:

• Maniac Miner's  Mining Fortune bonus is bound to the player, allowing swapping back to the Drill equipped with the  Sunny Side Goblin Omelette after reaching the cap using the 2nd Drill equipped with the  Blue Cheese Goblin Omelette.
• On the main Drill,  Sunny Side Goblin Omelette is used instead of  Blue Cheese Goblin Omelette because:
  •  Sunny Side Goblin Omelette provides 50  Mining Fortune;
  •  Blue Cheese Goblin Omelette provides:

+9  Mining Fortune via one extra level of Mining Fortune, Fortunate Mineman, and Rags to Riches;

+10  Mining Fortune on Maniac Miner^[3];

+5  Ore Fortune via one extra level of Old-School;

+5  Block Fortune via one extra level of Blockhead;

+5  Gemstone Fortune via one extra level of Gem Lover;

+5  Dwarven Metal Fortune via one extra level of Metal Head.

• Better Together cannot be combined with Fortunate Freezing because only one passive Mining Event can be active in  Glacite Mineshafts at a time:
  • Fortunate Freezing provides at most 198  Mining Fortune;
  • Better Together provides at most 125  Mining Fortune.
• Gemstone Infusion is not used because it replaces Maniac Miner:
  • Gemstone Infusion doubles the stats from the  3 Perfect Jade Gemstones on the  DIVINE Divan's Drill, for +180  Mining Fortune;
  • Maniac Miner grants up to +500  Mining Fortune (or +510  Mining Fortune^[4]).

• At CotM level 2, using a  Blue Cheese Goblin Omelette can bypass the cap of the Maniac Miner ability by 10  Mining Fortune, from 500  to 510 .

At level 3 of Maniac Miner, each block broken grants +15 . The check for the cap is run after the incrementation. In practice, this gives: +15  → PASS → +30  → PASS → […] → +480  → PASS → +495  → PASS → +510  → STOP.
