Pristine

Pristine is a stat that increases the chance to drop higher quality Gemstones from mining.

Mechanics

Every 1 Pristine grants a +1% chance to drop a Flawed Gemstone per Rough Gemstone initially yielded upon mining. The Flawed Gemstones are affected by Mining Fortune.

For example, if a player with $x$ Pristine mines Ruby, which drops 3–5 Rough Ruby Gemstones, they will have an $x$ % chance to roll a Flawed Gemstone 3-5 times. If they have $y$ Mining Fortune, they will obtain $y$ Flawed Ruby Gemstones per roll.

Expected Drop Calculation

The expected drop converted into Rough gemstones can be calculated using the following formula:

Increasing Bonus Pristine

Certain Equipment grants Pristine. The equipment must be equipped in order to take effect.

Certain Enchantments can be applied to items via an Enchantment Table or Anvil to grant Pristine. The items with the Enchantment applied must be used to take effect.

Gemstones

Trivia

Pristine is affected by both Catacombs levels and stars within Dungeons. However, this is useless as there are no Gemstones within Dungeons.
Gemstones gained from Pristine do not give progress to Gemstone Collection Commissions.
