Wisp Pet

The Wisp Pet is a craftable Gabagool Pet: rather than gaining XP traditionally, it must be fed Gabagool to level up, and resets its level upon gaining a rarity. It is designed for Blaze Slayer.

The Wisp Pet is obtained as a craftable pet at Blaze Slayer LVL I (1).

Upgrading

The Wisp Pet cannot be upgraded at Kat, and must be upgraded with Wisp Upgrade Stones. Each Wisp Upgrade Stone can be crafted with drops from the Inferno Demonlord.

Upon gaining a rarity, the Wisp Pet gains a new prefix and resets its level.

Trivia

The Wisp Pet was the first pet added to not have an attributed Skill.
It is also the first pet that doesn't level up through gaining skill experience.
- It is also the first pet that requires a consumable item to level up.
- The pet experience gained from feeding is affected by Mayor Derpy's MOAR SKILLZ!!! perk, which reduces the required amount of Gabagool items by around 33.3% during his mayorship.
- Since feeding the pet will consume the entire stack held in hand, it is possible to overfeed the pet right before it reaches level 100.
The Wisp Pet is the only pet that changes name depending on its rarity.
The Wisp Pet is the only pet that has a level requirement to be upgraded.
If one buys a Wisp Pet from the Auction House or through trading, without the proper Blaze Slayer level, its perks wouldn't activate.
The Wisp Pet is the only pet that starts as at UNCOMMON.
