The Hellwisp is a pack of upside-down Ghasts which attempts to pull the player in with its tentacles.

Two Hellwisps appear in two of four lava pools in one of the northwest areas leading off from the  Magma Chamber, outside of the  Matriarch's Lair.

Hellwisp can also be Charmed or put in a Black Hole to obtain  Hellwisp Shard and +1,000  Hunting XP. The amount of Attribute Shards dropped is affected by  Hunting Fortune.

When a nearby player approaches it, the Hellwisp will shoot out a tentacle which traps the player. It will then bring the player into its mouth, and will quickly hurt them.

• Its tentacles are made up of Tentacle Meat.
