PHOTON_PATHThe Photon Pathway is a location in the Rift Dimension.
Purpose
[edit | edit source]In order to reach the Stillgore Château, the player must parkour across floating islands with lasers sweeping across them. The parkour can be skipped by paying 
Phaser 150,000 Motes. Once the player reaches the end of the parkour, Phaser will transport them to the end for free.
Deer lies on the island at the end of the parkour. If the player has a 
Rift Boat in their inventory, they can talk to Deer to be transported to the Stillgore Château.
Located inside a building, the player can find the ninth Montezuma Soul Piece at 
152, 80, -14. Finding the soul piece will add an additional +15 Rift Time to the Pet.

Trivia
[edit | edit source]- The Photon Pathway is the Rift equivalent to a river isolating the Stillgore Château from the rest of the Island. Speaking to Deer with the Rift Boat sends the player across the river triggering water particles along the players trajectory and playing splashing sounds.
- In traditional vampire folklore vampires are unable to cross rivers.[1] Famously Count Draculacould only cross running water at low or high tide. He is unable to fly across a river in the form of a bat or mist nor even by himself aboard a boat unless he is physically carried.[2]
- The Rift Guide states that "A cult of vampires has settled in the castle. Beware being sent to their prison.", however the existence of the river implies they are unable to cross to the mainland.
